The current rate for a scuba diving course alone charged by most
instructors and dive shops both here and abroad is between $300 to $400 [or
up to P18,000/person]. That amount does NOT include the incidentals and
necessities to successfully complete the course. You need to provide for
your own scuba diving equipment, tanks, boat
rental, meals and pay the Open Water Diver Certification which can cost another 300
to 400 dollars or more.
